Let’s take a look at some of the offerings and special celebrations coming to the Walt Disney World Resort!

Brand New Anthem!

First up, the brand new anthem for the celebration! “The Magic is Calling” is the name of this emotional new piece that you are sure to hear at least once during the celebration. It will connect all four parks, with each park icon coming to life in new ways as the “Beacon of Light” shines at night.

You will also hear it during the new Mickey’s Celebration Cavalcade, from Voices of Liberty, the Dapper Dans, Main Street Philharmonic, and more!

New Nighttime Spectaculars

Happily Ever After and EPCOT Forever, the current nighttime spectaculars at Magic Kingdom and EPCOT, are set to be permanently retired on September 29. Beginning October 1, Walt Disney World is set to usher in TWO BRAND NEW NIGHTTIME SHOWS!

The Magic Kingdom is ready to usher in a new era of nighttime show with “Disney Enchantment,” which promises to make you believe in magic!

In “Disney Enchantment,” we join dreamers like Tiana, Miguel, Rapunzel, and brothers Ian & Barley from “Onward,” and we set out on an incredible journey with adventurers such as Moana, Raya, and Judy Hopps. Joe Gardner from Disney and Pixar’s “Soul” takes us into “the zone,” where we discover a whimsical world inspired by the style of legendary Disney artist Mary Blair and filled with beloved characters from classic stories like “Beauty and the Beast” and “Alice in Wonderland” to contemporary tales including “Luca” and “Wreck-It Ralph.” Everything builds to a climactic moment, as Tinker Bell takes flight, spreading shimmering gold pixie dust and empowering us all to believe in ourselves and the magic all around us.

“Disney Enchantment” features characters, moments, and music from dozens of Disney and Pixar animated films. The show takes us beyond the ordinary to a land of magic, where we’re swept up in a world of wonder filled with friendship, love and fun. Through it all, we’ll discover we only have to look within to find the power to believe and make dreams come true, because the magic was inside us all along!

Over at EPCOT, get ready to take in “Harmonious,” one of the largest nighttime spectaculars ever created for a Disney park!

“Harmonious” will celebrate how the music of Disney inspires people the world over, carrying them away harmoniously on a stream of familiar Disney tunes reinterpreted by a diverse group of artists from around the globe. “Harmonious” will feature massive floating set pieces, custom-built LED panels, choreographed moving fountains, lights, pyrotechnics, lasers, and more.

All New Show at Animal Kingdom

Beginning October 1, “Disney Kite Tails” will premiere at Animal Kingdom, taking the magic of nature and Disney Story-telling to new heights! Watercraft zoom into view, pulling with them dynamic kite trains and enormous, three-dimensional kites depicting familiar characters from “The Lion King” or “The Jungle Book.” From one performance to another, you may see Baloo the bear dancing in the sky or Zazu the red-billed hornbill chasing after Simba. These remarkable kites, some as large as 30 feet in length, are inflated by moving through the air, allowing characters like King Louie or Timon and Pumbaa to soar like never before!

France Pavilion Expansion and NEW Restaurant in EPCOT

Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is set to FINALLY open on October 1, 2021! This trackless ride shrinks you down to the size of a rat, as you sneak your way around the kitchen! It will open with no stand-by line, utilizing a virtual queue, similar to Rise of the Resistance. Guests will have the chance to join at 7:00 am and 1:00 pm, and you must have a ticket for park admission and a park reservation. La Creperie is also set to open, featuring a first-come-first-serve table service cafe AND a walk-up window. This location will serve GLUTEN-FRIENDLY crepes and French hard ciders.

Also in EPCOT, after waiting YEARS, Space 220 is FINALLY set to open! This restaurant will allow you to dine “in space,” and is set to open on September 20. I, for one, cannot WAIT to try this new dining experience!

And that’s about it…..for now! There will be MERCHANDISING, too! Are you ready to plan your vacation to the Most Magical Celebration? Contact me today!!!
