Holidays Return to Disneyland November 12, 2021
Disneyland Resort will celebrate the holidays beginning November 12, 2021, and the celebration will last through January 9, 2022. Starting at Disneyland Park, take in the beauty of Sleeping Beauty castle and a 60-foot Christmas Tree on Main Street.
ENTERTAINMENT RETURNS!! Enjoy “A Christmas Fantasy” parade, as Disney characters join Santa Claus parading down Main Street! Santa will also be popping up all around the park, so keep your eyes peeled! And for the perfect ending to a perfect Disneyland day, take in “Believe…in Holiday Magic,” a nighttime fireworks spectacular complete with snowfall over Main Street USA. And don’t forget about it’s a small world holiday and the 20th Anniversary of Haunted Mansion Holiday!!
Disney California Adventure Park has its fair share of holiday offerings as well, featuring the Festival of Holidays!
Celebrate Christmas/Navidad, Kwanzaa, Diwali, Hanukkah, and Three Kings Day. Friends and families are invited to celebrate with “Disney ¡Viva Navidad!” as Disney characters host a fun street party featuring Mexican folklórico dancers and Mariachis, Brazilian samba dancers and percussionists, giant mojiganga puppets and Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in their fiesta best! At Paradise Gardens, Guests will enjoy festively themed food and beverages, live music and dance, and later in the Holiday season Mirabel from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ upcoming film ‘Encanto’ will make her park debut. Stay tuned for information on Mirabel’s introduction.
Don’t miss the celebration in CarsLand, with festive decorations and Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl and Mater’s Jingle Jamboree!
VIP Tours are Back at Disneyland

Disney Merriest Nights at Disneyland Park
This hard-ticketed special event will take place at Disneyland Park on six select nights: Nov. 11, Nov. 16, Nov. 30, Dec. 7, and Dec. 9. Dress in your most festive holiday gear and take part in SEVEN special holiday parties! Mickey Mouse will host a party at Main St USA, while Tiana will welcome guests to New Orleans Square with a bayou-inspired celebration. Head over to Frontierland for a jolly dance-filled fiesta with Miguel from Coco!
Lilo and Stitch lead a Hawaiian spectacular party over in Adventureland, while Elsa hosts a wintertime celebration in Fantasyland. And join Buzz Lightyear for a high-flying adventure in Tomorrowland! Guests will enjoy special photo opportunities, entertainment, food, and more! And don’t miss the “Christmas Fantasy” Parade!
New Holiday Shoppe Plaza Point

MagicBand+ Coming Next Year
Launching next year, MagicBand+ will come alive after you enter a theme park with color-changing lights, haptic vibrations and gesture recognition. The wearable will allow you to engage with favorite Disney moments in new ways, including:

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will debut in 2022 as part of The World’s Most Magical Celebration. This new type of roller coaster experience invites guests to join the Guardians of the Galaxy on an intergalactic chase through space and time!
Grand Floridian DVC Renovations
Beginning Summer 2022, the Grand Floridian will see an expansion. The expansion will add approximately 200 proposed resort studios, a Disney Vacation Club room type unique to The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. At the same time, existing villas including deluxe studios, one- and two-bedroom villas, and three-bedroom grand villas will be enhanced.
The proposed new resort studios will feature two queen-size beds and a day bed with room for up to five Guests. The deluxe studios at the resort can also accommodate up to five Guests and will feature a queen-size bed, a pull-down queen-size bed that tucks away seamlessly into the wall, and a charming pull-down bunk-size bed – perfect for the little ones.
