For the ultimate Alaskan experience, Adventures by Disney: Alaska is for you! This Alaskan Adventure is 7 Nights/8 Days, includes 14 sites, and 16 meals. The minimum age is 4 but the suggested age is 6 and up. There are 2 Adult Exclusive itineraries, for ages 18 and up. So what does this journey entail?
Day 1-2: Anchorage, Alaska

You will fly into Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport, where you will meet your first Adventures by Disney
representative. Your representative will escort you to you car, and you can relax as the driver helps you with your luggage. Then, you will be whisked away to the Anchorage Marriott Downtown.
Once you arrive, your Adventure Guide will check you in and give you tips and suggestions to explore Anchorage on your own.
Cap off the first day of your Alaskan Adventure with a Welcome Reception at the 49th State Brewing Company. Dine on a true Alaskan feast, featuring fresh seafood, succulent tenderloin tips, and more! And do not overlook the award-winning beers and beautiful Alaskan Culture that surrounds you!

Day 2 begins with breakfast at the hotel to fuel up for the day’s adventures. From the hotel, you will begin an incredible day in Anchorage.
First, you will head to the Alaska Native Heritage Center to celebrate the rich heritage of Native Alaskan Cultures. One of the Center’s Guides will teach about ancient traditions of Alaska’s Indigenous population, including art, games, and stories.
While adults tour villages, your Junior Adventurers will go on an outdoor scavenger hunt for various Native items. Then, take the time to enjoy the great Alaskan outdoors, with biking and kayaking offered around Eklutna Lake. By the time you get through all of that, you’ll surely be hungry! So enjoy a barbecue feast around the campfire! And look for bald eagles, ravens, moose, and more!
Day 3-4: Telkeetna and Denali National Park and Preserve
Board the coach and travel to the charming village of Telkeetna and the Telkeetna Alaskan Lodge. But no worries for you! Your Adventure Guides will handle all the details upon check-in!
The adults will have a delicious dinner at the Lodge before exploring the property under the beautiful EVENING SUN! Meanwhile, Junior Adventurers will enjoy a private dinner at the Lodge before heading outside for a fun night with the Adventure Guides.

After another delicious breakfast, you’ll take a brief stroll around Telkeetna.
Then board a scenic Alaska Railroad Dome Train for lunch while riding to Denali National Park. While traveling on this fantastic train, Junior Adventurers will have time to complete the Junior Ranger Activity Book for Denali National Park. Once they arrive at Denali National Park, they will then be sworn in as Junior Rangers!
Explore Denali National Park on your own time. The night wraps up with dinner at your leisure and your Adventure Guides will get you all checked in to Grande Denali Lodge.
After another hearty breakfast at the Lodge, head out for a guided hike or wilderness rafting!

After lunch at Denali National Park, it’s time for you to explore Denali on your own, and enjoy dinner on your own.
Day 5: Big Lake
After breakfast at the hotel, you will board a coach and travel to Big Lake, home of Happy Trails. Once there,

the whole group will have lunch at a favorite local hot spot.
Then, it’s time to visit a championship kennel! Happy Trails Kennel, owned by 4-time Iditarod Winner, Martin Buser, will share the best of Alaska’s sled dogs! You will get an exciting sledding demonstration, plus an up-close encounter with the sled dogs and adorable puppies! Learn about the history of the Iditarod and the loving care the dogs receive!
You will then travel to the historic Mining Town of Girdwood and the Grand Hotel Alyeska! Ask you Adventure Guides for the perfect reservation suggestion, and maybe a little pixie dust with getting those reservations, for dinner on your own.
Day 6-8: Girdwood

Another breakfast at the hotel, then head out for an action-packed day around Girdwood. Learn about the Alaskan gold rush before panning for gold in Crow Creek.
Then it’s lunch on your own in Girdwood. You will then take a short train trip to Spencer Whistlestop. Board your rafts and get up close and personal with the glaciers of Spencer Lake. Come ashore for a delicious salmon bake.
After breakfast at the hotel, you will head to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, located on the shores of Turnagain Arm. Explore the Center with a Naturalist, and get an up-close view of bears, moose, and bison! Learn how all the wild animals housed here have been rescued and are in the process of being rehabilitated.

Then join a local expert for an amazing up-close presentation with one of the local reindeer residents, where you will learn everything from their habitat and diet to their antlers and environment. Then lunch and afternoon on your own.
Farewell dinner at the Hotel Alyeska, with a performance of traditional dancers and drummers, bringing Alaska’s Native Heritage to life.

On your last morning, enjoy one last breakfast at the hotel, before your flight home from Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport.
