Disney JUST ANNOUNCED the upcoming return of some favorite restaurants!! Flying Fish at the Boardwalk, Jiko-the Cooking Place at Animal Kingdom Lodge, and The Turf Club Bar and Grill at Saratoga Springs will all be returning soon. And Cape May will once again be offering BUFFET service!
The Flying Fish, located on the Boardwalk, will reopen on January 27, 2022. They will once again offer delicious flavors, sustainable fish, and steak offerings. The Seafood Pearl Pasta consists of shrimp, lobster, scallops, clams, and mussels.
Or maybe you prefer the Plancha-seared Scallops, which are served with savory grits, sweet corn, and Peppadew emulsion. And finish off with an amazing dessert like the Cocoa Breach, which is served with vanilla custard.
On February 3, 2022, head to Saratoga Springs Resort to dine at The Turf Club Bar and Grill. Start off with an amazing appetizer of New York cider-braised mussels, flavored with garlic, chorizo, fennel, Fresno chili, and apple cider topped with a grilled baguette.
This American-flavored spot will not disappoint, as you next can choose between the Grilled Pork Chop or Braised Lamb Tagliatelle, among other amazing dishes. And don’t forget dessert! Including an amazing New York cheesecake!
Next, beginning February 17, 2022, head to Animal Kingdom Lodge to enjoy African, Indian, and Mediterranean flavors at Jiko-the Cooking Place!! Try the Seafood Tangine, made up of prawns, scallops, squid, and Littleneck clams! A returning favorite for dessert, the Kilimanjaro dessert is not just gorgeous, but delicious too. Decadent dark chocolate mousse, pistachio financier, pink peppercorn meringue, cacao nib crunch, and ras el hanout pineapples!!
February 15, 2022, Cape May will see the return of the all-you-care-to-enjoy breakfast buffet!! Once again, enjoy items including pull-apart bread with vanilla sauce, beef hash, and an omelet station. And what breakfast is complete without Mickey and Minnie waffles?
Also, the return of the seafood boil buffet! This includes with options like cornbread, seasonal harvest salad, seafood boil, and a daily carving station! And you can upgrade your meal with snow crab legs or even a whole lobster, both purchased by the pound. Come hungry, leave satisfied!!
And finally, on January 31, 2022, Ale and Compass will see some favorites, like Blueberry Bacon Pancakes and a tasty buffet filled with dazzling additions to your entrée, including pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt parfaits, overnight oats, and house-made cheddar biscuits with country gravy, return to what is undoubtedly one of my favorite breakfasts!! And welcome some new lunch favorites, too!
