Transatlantic Cruise Basics

Transatlantic Cruise

Disney Cruise Line has some amazing itineraries available, and this 13-Night Transatlantic Cruise from Miami to Barcelona definitely fits the bill! You will embark on the Disney Magic on May 8, 2022, in Miami, Florida. From there, you will sail across the Atlantic, eventually ending up in Barcelona, Spain. This cruise has 7 days at sea and 7 destinations.

Port of Miami

This is the most important part of cruising: don’t miss the boat. You will want to be there a day in advance AT LEAST, so find a nice hotel in Miami, and get settled in. I suggest the Four Seasons Miami. Then take in the sights, like Miami Beach, or shopping, or dine in a Cuban Cafe. Then, on the day of your cruise, you can relax while you prepare to go to Port! Sure, the cruise won’t leave until 4:00, but why risk a flight delay the day of? Just trust me, and fly in the day before!

The first 6 days of this cruise will be spent at sea, so you will have a ton of time to relax and enjoy your ship. You will be sailing on the Disney Magic, so get to know the ship! For me, I’m only here for the food, so starting with dining is important to me! Aboard the Magic, you can dine at Animator’s Palete, Lumiere’s, or Rapunzel’s Royal Table as part of Disney Cruise Line’s Rotational Dining. There is also 24-hour Room Service, Duck-In Diner, Eye Scream Treats, and much more, and this is all included in the cost of your cruise. For an extra, adult’s only treat, make reservations at Palo.

You will be able to take in Tangled: The Musical, first-run movies (when applicable), and more, plus deck parties, kids’ clubs and adult-exclusive activities, pools, Senses Spa, and so much more! Read more about the amazing Disney Magic!!
