Peru Vacation Overview

This Peru vacation will give you an amazing tour of Peru and allow you to soak up the culture and beauty that is this South American country. Enjoy day one in Lima, and explore the hotel before a welcome dinner. Then in the morning, you will board a plane and fly to Cuzco. Located high in the Andes, this was once the capital of the Incan Empire. Here, guests will enjoy other Incan Sites, including the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

Tour the Center for Traditional Textiles of Cuzco. Here, they preserve the customs of local Andean communities in Peru, and you will watch expert Peruvian weavers at work. Then you will experience the “Pachamanca.” This traditional Andean feast is sure to delight, as you take in authentic Incan dances and stories.

Urubamba River

This ancient Peruvian river features Class I-Class III rapids. And you will shoot these rapids as you learn about the region’s history! Then you’ll discover the town of Ollantaytambo. In this town, you will tour the ancient ruins of Incan Emperor Pachacuti, and discover the culture from the Incas through Spanish Conquest, through today!
