I know you’re probably still eating that Halloween candy, but it’s Christmas Time in the Walt Disney World Resort! Things have already started changing and decorations are everywhere. But, more than that, the FOOD is just about ready to debut! As we are all well aware by now, I’m just here for the food anyway! So let’s talk about these Christmas Treats, and where and when you can find them, in this edition of WDW Foodie News!

Starting off with frozen goodies, something that can only be a “Christmas goodie” in the south, this first treat can be found in Tomorrowland. Lock, Shock, and Barrel Sundae: Festive vanilla cake, vanilla ice cream, strawberry topping, whipped cream, and Christmas sprinkles with a Lock, Shock, and Barrel chocolate piece. This NEW treat, available at Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies, is available Nov. 8 through Dec. 31, both during regular park hours and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.

During Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, head to Sleepy Hollow for this next treat. The Funnel Cake Sundae: Peppermint ice cream, M&M’S chocolate candies, and hot fudge served on funnel cake. This, too, is a new treat for this year’s party!

Similarly, the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor will have a new sundae for party guests only. The all-new Peppermint Hot Fudge Brownie Sundae: Peppermint ice cream, hot fudge, and candy cane pieces served on a brownie.

If you’re already drooling, but you don’t have party tickets, ACT NOW! Contact me today to add tickets to your vacation, or to book your vacation!

Over in Frontierland, enjoy this new Chai Caramel Freeze at Golden Oak Outpost! A salted caramel freeze with chai spiced whipped cream, this NEW treat is available Nov. 8 through Dec. 31, both during regular park hours and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.

Meanwhile, back in Tomorrowland at Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies, this Sugar Plum Shake is a new treat, just for party guests! A spiced sugar plum soft-serve shake topped with cherry syrup, whipped cream, and sprinkles. It’s officially at the top of my list!

The Plaza Ice Cream Parlor will also have this party-exclusive Candy Cane Hot Cocoa. Hot chocolate with peppermint ice cream, whipped cream, and candy cane pieces. Certainly, the ice cream will make hot cocoa in Central Florida worth a try!

Finally, back to Sleepy Hollow for this party-exclusive Apple Cider Float, and I will be running to try it! I LOVE APPLE CIDER! Apple cider topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and sprinkled with cinnamon. Sounds like the perfect treat while waiting for the parade or fireworks!

And now, for something completely different, at Casey’s Corner you’ll find the Holiday Dinner Dog. This new food will be available November 8-December 31 during regular park hours and the parties. An all-beef hot dog with cranberry mustard, savory stuffing funnel cake, and cheese curds. Definitely sounds like something I won’t be trying, but I’m sure someone will!

Head back to the Golden Oak Outpost again for the Fried Pork Tamale served “Christmas Style” with red and green chile sauces and queso fresco. This will be available November 8-December 31, during regular park hours and Christmas parties.

This party-exclusive dish from Friar’s Nook is the Curry Brat Tots. Tots topped with chopped bratwurst, curry ketchup, and apple slaw. Again, not something I would go for, but to each their own!

The Cool Ship has another party-exclusive treat in the Polar Bear Claw. This Chocolate hazelnut pastry with white and dark chocolate looks so good I might just eat the picture!

For more party-exclusive goodies, this Tinker Bell Cream Puff will be available at the Friar’s Nook. This cream puff and compressed carrot cake topped with spiced cream cheese icing, spiced walnuts, and chocolate wings looks like it might be too big for the Fairies, so we humans will get to enjoy it instead!

Sleepy Hollow will be totally busy with all these party-exclusive treats, and I’m gonna be in line for all of them! This Sandy Claws Peppermint Mousse Treat is white chocolate peppermint mousse with a chocolate fudge center, chocolate Santa hat, and Jack Skellington face. What’s this? WHAT’S THIS?! Delicious!
