Disney California Adventure will usher in the Lunar New Year with a joyous tribute to Chinese, Korean, and Vietnamese Cultures. 2023 is the Year of the Rabbit, and in Chinese culture, the rabbit symbolizes luck. In the Vietnamese Zodiac calendar, 2023 will be the Year of the Cat.

Mickey & Minnie, dressed in their festive attire, will be on hand to celebrate alongside Mulan and Mushu in “Mulan’s Lunar New Year Procession.” This performance will feature dozens of performers as they honor family, friendship, and the potential for a fortune-filled New Year!

And it wouldn’t be a Disney Festival without food! Four Festival Markets return this year and 2 new will debut – Bamboo Blessings and Wrapped with Love. Returning this year will be Lucky 8 Lantern, Prosperity Bao & Buns, Red Spice Traders, and Longevity Noodle Company. Guests will have the option to purchase the Sip & Savor Pass, too.
