What the heck is Coco Cay? That’s a great question, I would love to tell you about it (copyright Elyse Myers). Coco Cay is Royal Caribbean’s private island in the Caribbean, and you will have a Perfect Day at Coco Cay! When you are on the island, you are only there with the guests from Royal Caribbean. And there is absolutely something for EVERYONE!
What’s Included in Perfect Day at Coco Cay?
Where to start…Coco Cay includes pretty much the same amenities you get while on board the ship. The island has showers, restrooms, and changing rooms available for everyone to use. There are also plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas available. The tram to get you from the ship to the island is also complimentary. Sounds good so far, yes?
Coco Cay also has 5 complimentary dining locations. The Chill Grill, located on Chill Island, is the largest, with everything from tacos to sandwiches and grilled favorites. Skipper’s Grill, which overlooks the harbor, has the same food offerings as The Chill Grill. Head to Captain Jack’s for some amazing chicken wings and fries. And there are 2 snack shacks available. Again, this is all included! You already paid for it with your cruise fare.
Kids will enjoy Splashaway Bay and Captain Jill’s Galleon. Adults and kids alike will enjoy the Oasis Lagoon, the Caribbean’s LARGEST freshwater pool! There’s even a DJ and a swim-up bar! Harbor Beach is available for families to enjoy the beach, and everyone can enjoy Chill Island. Head to South Beach, for beach volleyball and other lawn games!!
For Fee Offerings on Coco Cay
Adults who want to relax in an adult-only area can buy a pass to the Coco Beach Club. Here, you will find exclusive facilities, like an oceanfront infinity pool, private beach, and a restaurant. There are beach beds and cabanas available, and you can rent an exclusive floating cabana, for the ultimate adult oasis!
Head to Thrill Waterpark, where you can pay for amazing thrill slides. Or pay to take a zip line over the ocean! Have you ever wanted to take a helium balloon? NOW’S YOUR CHANCE!!! Take advantage of shore excursions as part of your cruise planning. And, of course, there is the Straw Market and Logo Shop available for buying the Perfect Souvenirs from your Perfect Day at Coco Cay!

Seattle Underground Tour – Seattle’s Gold Rush
Known as the “salmon capital of the world,” Ketchikan is rich in fishing and culture. They also have the most totem poles in the world! You can explore the Tongass National Forest, which is the largest in the United States.
This is a Klondike Gold Rush town and has a TON to offer! Visit the Corrington Museum and learn about Alaska’s history, or take in some historical reenactments! You can also head up to Laughton Glacier, and go sledding with Alaskan huskies. Personally, I LOVE huskies, and this sounds amazing!
Visit the Lynn Canal, the longest fjord in North America, and go rafting! How incredible does THAT sound?! You can also ride a vintage rail car along White Pass and Yukon route narrow-gauge railway, where you will see the Bridal Veil Falls, Dead Horse Gulch, and Glacier Gorge!
Endicott Arm & Dawes Glacier, Alaska. Juneau, Alaska. Victoria, British Columbia
Endicott Arm is a breeding ground for harbor seals, so you can probably see them swimming alongside the ship. You might also see brown bears, bald eagles, sea ducks, moose, and wolves. Then, get an up-close look at Dawes Glacier, jutting 600 feet out of the sea! In Juneau, watch for humpback whales, orcas, harbor seals, and sea lions on a charter boat excursion. Or travel to Mendenhall Glacier and become a Master Musher! You can even pan for gold! The final stop before returning to Seattle is Victoria, British Columbia, the cycling capital of the world. Take in a classic afternoon tea, shop, and eat!
