Flavors of Florida is BACK at Disney Springs! Check out All the Great Food & Drinks Available!
Flavors of Florida is a relatively new celebration during the summer, and it happens at Disney Springs. Over 30 places are taking part this year, focusing on the flavors of Florida. Taking place from July 5 – August 14, 2022, there is a TON of great food and drink to enjoy!
Flavors of Florida – West Side
So you’re probably thinking “Downtown Disney? You’re confused!” But, just as the Theme Parks have “Lands,” Disney Springs also has different areas. The West Side originally opened in 1997 as “Downtown Disney – West Side.” Here, you will find great dining and entertainment options, including Cirque du Soleil, AMC, Splittsville, House of Blues, and more! Seven West Side locations are taking part in the Flavors of Florida, and I’ve got the details you want!
City Works Eatery & Pour House
Serving American cuisine and offering a massive selection of craft brews, this “upbeat restaurant meets ultimate sports bar” is offering a Smokehouse Cuban. Hardwood smoked pulled pork shoulder, ham, shaved hot link, smoked provolone, Robonaut red mustard & spicy bread-and-butter pickles, all on a Cuban roll! You can (and really SHOULD) make Advanced Dining Reservations!
Splittsville Luxury Lanes
Did you know that there is a retro-style bowling alley at Walt Disney World?! YEP! And if you’re looking for some incredible fun for the whole family, consider renting a lane!
But if you’re not in the mood to bowl, you can still make an Advanced Dining Reservation in the dining room for some of the best food you’ll have on property! For the Flavors of Florida Celebration, you can enjoy Grilled Key West Pink Shrimp Salad. This is grilled shrimp served over a spring mix with strawberries, oranges, cucumbers, tomato, parsley, onions, and feta, tossed in a strawberry vinaigrette! And then, you can wash it down with Spiked Guava Lemonade! St. Augustine Vodka with guava puree and fresh squeezed lemon juice, topped with a splash of soda water!
House of Blues Restaurant & Bar
Serving American cuisine with New Orleans flare, enjoy VooDoo Shrimp and the Green Gator! Sauteed Florida Gulf Shrimp in an Abita Amber Beer reduction sauce, served over jalapeno cheddar cornbread. The Green Gator features Siesta Key toasted Coconut Rum mixed with melon liqueur, simple syrup, and pineapple juice!
West Side Snacks & Sweets
Continuing through the West Side, enjoy a sweet snack! First, head to Everglazed Donuts and Cold Brew, where you can enjoy the Citrus Dream Donut! Then wash it down with Orange Lemonade topped with a sweet cream foam! At the M&Ms store, head to the color wall. Here, you can get 1/2 pound or 1 pound bags of white chocolate key lime pie candies! And finally, at the brand new amazing ice cream scoop shop, Salt & Straw, get some strawberry honey balsamic with black pepper ice cream!
Disney Springs – Town Center
We’re moving right along into the Town Center neighborhood. You are probably most familiar with this area, especially if you pop in from the bus depot. This stretches from World of Disney all the way into the West Side, and features a vast array of dining and shopping. Here is where you will also find the Welcome Center, where you can grab your Flavors of Florida guide!
Chef Rick Bayless brings this Mexican cuisine to Disney Springs, and you’ll probably want to snag an Advanced Dining Reservation! Grab a Shrimp Ajillo Tostada, topped with roasted garlic-guajilla Florida pink shrimp, avocado, jicama, local heirloom cherry tomatoes, red onion, cilantro, orange, and citrus-soy vinaigrette.
